Role Description The Electrical Safety Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The role involves conducting detailed inspections and audits of electrical installations, systems, and equipment to verify compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations. The auditor will prepare clear reports, highlight risks, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on remediation measures.

Responsibilities include reviewing documentation and drawings, coordinating with project teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities, and supporting continuous improvement of safety practices. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant electrical safety norms, supporting internal training, and contributing to the development of standard operating procedures.

Qualifications





- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and protective devices, with the ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
- Experience in electrical safety audits, inspections, or testing, including familiarity with national and local electrical codes and standards.
- Understanding of regulatory and government liaison processes related to electrical work, permits, and compliance documentation.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate audit reports, risk assessments, and recommendations, with attention to detail and structured documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineers, contractors, clients, and government representatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying hazards and practical corrective measures.
- Proficiency in basic office software and audit tools for data recording, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; relevant professional certifications in electrical safety or auditing are an advantage.
- Prior experience in electrical contracting, consultancy, or industrial electrical environments is preferred.
