Role Description The Electrical Foreman role at JMD Electrical Services is a full-time, hybrid position based in Gurugram, work on site and liasioning depending on project needs.

The Electrical

Foreman will oversee daily on-site electrical activities, assign tasks, and guide electricians and technicians to ensure safe, accurate, and effective completion of work.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating electrical wiring and installation, monitoring progress and quality, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves maintaining safety compliance, conducting inspections, managing materials and tools, and communicating with project managers and other trades to keep projects on schedule. Documentation of work performed,



reporting on job status, and supporting training and mentoring of team members are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in electricity and practical knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
- Experience in electrical contracting, including managing crews and coordinating with other construction disciplines.
- Proficiency in electrical wiring, installation of fixtures and equipment, and reading electrical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose faults, and implement safe, effective solutions.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role on construction or electrical projects.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations; commitment to safe work practices.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
- Vocational training, diploma, or degree in electrical engineering or a related field; valid electrical certifications or licenses as required.
- Experience with commercial and residential projects and familiarity with basic project documentation and reporting.
