Role Description The Education Counsellor will work full time in office at Ask Education’s office in Noida, providing guidance to students and families on academic programs, institutions, and career pathways. In this role, the counsellor will conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions, assess student interests and strengths, and recommend suitable courses, colleges, and training options. The position involves explaining admission processes, application timelines, and financial considerations, as well as maintaining accurate records of student interactions and progress.

The counsellor will collaborate with internal teams to develop counseling materials, organize information sessions or workshops, and respond promptly to inquiries via in-person meetings, phone, email, and messaging platforms.



The role may also include staying updated on education trends, entrance examinations, and policy changes to provide current and reliable information.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Educational Consulting and Education to advise on academic programs and institutional options.
- Candidates should possess Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support learners in making informed academic and career decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear, empathetic, and professional interaction with students, families, and colleagues.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, or a related field; advanced certifications in counseling or guidance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic advising, educational counseling, or career guidance, preferably in a school, college, or counseling center setting.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple cases, and maintain organized and accurate documentation.
- Proficiency with basic office software and online communication tools; familiarity with entrance exams and admission procedures is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ethical approach, respect for diversity, and commitment to providing non-discriminatory, student-centered guidance.
