About the Role

We're looking for a senior HR operations and transformation leader to join At Dawn permanently and build our HR transformation capability. Your first assignment will be a multi-year HR transformation programme for a large global enterprise client operating across many countries. The client is reimagining its core HR processes for an agentic world: reducing localisation, removing redundant steps, and using AI agents and orchestration where they genuinely add value, while keeping core HR systems central.

As Director, HR Transformation, you will be the senior HR voice of our team and lead our HR transformation offering. You will work alongside our journey-engineering and AI architecture leads and the client's Global Process Owners to redesign employee-lifecycle journeys end to end, then turn those designs into requirements that the client's technology teams can build. This is a senior, hands-on design role, not an advisory one:



you will run workshops, make recommendations and own design outputs.

Location -India (Gurugram / Bengaluru / Mumbai) or UK, hybrid, with strong overlap with UK working hours and periodic travel

Key Responsibilities

Programme set-up and design authority

Co-lead the HR process design authority alongside the client's Global Process Owners, driving timely, well-documented design decisions.

Help establish the transformation roadmap, phasing and design principles for a multi-year, multi-country HR programme.

Shape the future BAU operating model and governance for HR operations in an agentic (AI-enabled) environment, including the role of global capability centres and regional hubs.

Process re-imagination

Lead end-to-end redesign of employee-lifecycle journeys: job change and transfers, new hire and onboarding administration, leavers, absence, time and attendance, employee data and Tier 1 query management.

Map current-state processes with HR operations, HRBPs, Comp & Perks and managers across countries; diagnose friction and gaps; separate legal requirements from policy choices.

Design a global core with country variations held as parameters and rules, and drive standardisation decisions with process owners.

Decide, step by step, what should be eliminated, standardised, configured in core HR systems, automated, given to an AI agent or kept with a human.
