About OutReal

OutReal streams SteamVR games from cloud GPUs straight to a Meta Quest headset's browser. No gaming PC, no downloads: players sign in with their own Steam account and play their PC VR library on a Quest 2, 3 or 3S. We're live in the UK, US, Europe and Canada, and we're a small team moving fast.

The role

You'll own how gamers discover OutReal and decide to pay for it. Most of your week happens where VR players already hang out: Discord, X (Twitter) and Reddit. You'll build our community, create content that gets shared, and personally reach out to players, creators and communities to turn them into signups and paying subscribers.

What you'll do

- Run and grow the OutReal Discord: channels, roles, bots, events, onboarding and moderation
- Run our X (Twitter) account: daily posts, clips, threads, replies and conversations with the VR community
- Be a genuine, trusted voice on Reddit (r/OculusQuest, r/virtualreality, r/SteamVR and others) without spamming
- Create short-form content (gameplay clips, memes, how-tos), using AI tools to produce more, faster
- Reach out to VR creators, streamers and other Discord communities for partnerships, collabs and affiliate deals
- Track what works: signups, trial-to-paid conversion and cost per paying user.



Then double down on it.

What we're looking for

- Proven experience running a Discord server (bots, roles, events, moderation). Please share a server you ran.
- A track record of growing an X (Twitter) account, with numbers
- You know Reddit culture: how to contribute, not just promote
- You create content yourself and use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, CapCut, Midjourney or similar) in your daily workflow
- Comfortable with direct outreach: DMs, cold emails, creator deals
- You play games, and ideally VR. Owning a Quest is a big plus.
- Clear, confident written English that sounds right to gamers
- At least 4 hours' overlap with UK/EU working hours

Nice to have

- Experience in gaming, esports, streaming, Web3 or consumer subscription products
- Experience running small paid campaigns (Reddit, X or Meta ads)
- Video editing skills
