OutReal streams SteamVR games from cloud GPUs straight to a Meta Quest headset's browser. No gaming PC, no downloads: players sign in with their own Steam account and play their PC VR library on a Quest 2, 3 or 3S. We're live in the UK, US, Europe and Canada, and we're a small team moving rapid.
What you'll do
You'll work closely with our Community & Growth team to:
- Help manage and engage with the Discord community
- Post and interact with the VR/gaming community on X (Twitter)
- Find relevant conversations and communities on Reddit
- Create memes, gameplay clips, short videos and social posts
- Turn gameplay recordings into short-form content
- Research VR trends, games, memes and content ideas
- Find VR YouTubers, streamers and creators we could work with
- Build and maintain creator/outreach lists
- Help with creator and community outreach
- Support Discord events, announcements and community activities
- Track basic content and community performance
Who we're looking for
You don't need previous full-time marketing experience.
We're looking for someone who:
- Plays games and genuinely understands gaming culture
- Uses Discord regularly
- Understands Reddit and X/Twitter
- Can write transparent, natural English
- Enjoys creating memes, videos or social content
- Is comfortable learning new tools
- Uses AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, CapCut or similar
- Is proactive and doesn't need instructions for every small task
- Can work remotely with your own resource and communicate reliably
Owning a Meta Quest or already playing VR games is a big plus.
Nice to have
- You've moderated or managed a Discord server
- You've run a gaming/social media page
- You've edited gaming clips or short-form videos
- You've created content that received strong engagement
- You have experience with Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar
- You've worked with creators or influencers
- You're active in gaming communities on Reddit or Discord
Personal projects absolutely count.
