Role Description The DevOps Specialist will work on-site in Guindy in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with software development and operations teams to streamline delivery pipelines. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD processes, managing containerized applications, and administering Linux-based environments. The DevOps Specialist will monitor system performance, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure reliable deployments across development, testing, and production environments.

The role also includes creating and maintaining infrastructure-as-code, improving automation, and contributing to best practices for security, scalability, and observability in a Life Sciences-focused technology setting.

Qualifications

- Strong Software Development and Integration skills to support automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration practices and tools to maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management of microservices-based applications.
- Solid understanding of Linux administration, scripting, and system troubleshooting.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS,



Azure, GCP) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, along with basic security and compliance best practices.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document processes and configurations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience - 10+ years.

Roles & Responsibilities :-

- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines using GitLab, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Define and enforce DevSecOps standards, best practices, governance models, and quality gates across delivery teams.
- Act as a DevSecOps Adoption Champion, driving organization-wide awareness, engagement, and adoption of DevSecOps capabilities and processes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to align DevSecOps initiatives with enterprise objectives.
- Design and maintain secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Architect, implement, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, branching strategies, and release management processes.
- Embed security controls including SAST, DAST, container, dependency, and IaC scanning within the software delivery lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to engineering teams on DevSecOps tools, practices, and automation frameworks.
- Drive stakeholder influence and change management initiatives, effectively communicating DevSecOps value propositions and securing buy-in across teams.
- Establish monitoring, metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement mechanisms to track DevSecOps maturity, compliance, adoption, and delivery outcomes.
