Job Requirements

Position Summary The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and highly available AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on automating the software delivery lifecycle, managing containerized Java applications, and ensuring system reliability through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and robust CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Infrastructure Management

- Architect and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including VPCs, EC2, Auto Scaling, Route 53, and Load Balancers.
- Ensure all designs align with business goals and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- knowledge on Azure for cloud infrastructure management

Containerization & Orchestration

- Manage the containerization of Java applications using Docker.
- Orchestrate deployment, scaling, and management via AWS ECS, AKS

CI/CD Pipeline Automation

- Design and maintain robust Jenkins pipelines , Azure devops for automated testing and deployment.
- Support Java builds using Maven across development, staging, and production environments.
- Support Java builds using C#, .NET across development, staging, and production environments.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Develop and optimize modular, reusable code using AWS CloudFormation, Bicep, Terraform
- Manage the entire infrastructure lifecycle through version-controlled code.

Monitoring & Reliability





- Centralize logging and monitoring using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail, Azure log analytics
- Establish metrics, dashboards, and alerts to maintain high performance and security.

Security & Compliance

- Design secure networks using subnets, NAT gateways, security groups, and NACLs.
- Enforce least-privilege access using IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager, Azure keyvaults

Operational Excellence & Governance

- Automate repetitive tasks and troubleshoot complex setting issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and maintain detailed architectural documentation.
- Promote Agile/Scrum best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 3 to 4+ years of proven experience in Cloud Infrastructure design and operations, with a heavy focus on AWS and Azure
- Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Compute (ECS, EC2), Storage (S3, EBS, EFS), Networking (VPC, VPN), and Databases (RDS, PostgreSQL).
- Build & Deploy: Strong background in deploying Java Applications utilizing Maven.
- Containers: Extensive experience with Docker and deployment into AWS ECS.
- CI/CD & Git: Proficiency in Jenkins and Git/GitOps branching strategies.
- IaC Tools: Expertise in AWS CloudFormation ,Terraform or CDK experience is a plus.
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python, AWS CLI, or PowerShell.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions for engineering teams.
