Role Description The Deputy Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of geosynthetic and construction-related projects. This role involves assisting in project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking to ensure timely delivery in line with technical specifications and safety standards.

The Deputy Project

Manager will coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to manage material expediting, logistics, and inspections at project sites.



Daily responsibilities include monitoring project milestones, preparing status reports, addressing operational issues, and supporting risk mitigation and quality control activities. The role also includes contributing to continuous improvement of project workflows and maintaining explicit documentation and communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in project coordination and Project Management to support planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Expeditor and Expediting to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and follow-up of materials and equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inspection to verify compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logistics Management to oversee transportation, material handling, and site delivery operations.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in geotechnical, infrastructure, or construction projects, especially involving geosynthetics, is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode and adapt to field conditions, project timelines, and evolving priorities.
