NexusCurve is looking for an experienced Data & Infrastructure Engineer to build, integrate, and operate enterprise-scale data platforms and infrastructure solutions.

The role involves designing scalable data ingestion frameworks, automating ETL/ELT pipelines, managing SQL and NoSQL databases, and integrating legacy systems with modern cloud-based platforms.

Experience with OSDU (Open Subsurface Data Universe) is a strong advantage, particularly in data ingestion, schema mapping, metadata management, and API-driven integrations.

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Develop automated workflows for data integration, transformation, validation, and monitoring.
- Implement and support OSDU data ingestion, schema mapping, metadata management, and API integrations.
- Integrate legacy databases and applications with modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and database workloads.
- Administer and support NoSQL databases for high-volume, high-performance data management.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and operational procedures.

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Solid SQL database expertise, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, or similar platforms.
- Experience designing and automating data ingestion pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Strong Python scripting and data processing skills.




- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, data integration patterns, and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

- Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling.
- Dataiku for data preparation and pipeline automation.
- Exposure to Apache NiFi, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Oil & Gas industry experience, particularly in data management.
