Role Description The Cricket Content Writer will create and update match-related content, including live commentary, match reports, previews, and post-match analysis, tailored for a passionate cricket audience. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching current cricket news, generating original articles and features, and ensuring accurate and engaging coverage of domestic and international matches. The role also involves proofreading and refining content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to Criclive.in’s editorial standards,



as well as collaborating with editors and other writers to maintain a cohesive tone across the platform.

The Cricket Content

Writer will contribute to fan engagement by developing content that sparks discussion on the community pages and social channels. This is a full time, on-site role based in Janakpuri.

Qualifications

- Strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and audience-focused cricket content.
- Experience with Content Strategy and Research to plan coverage, identify key storylines, and gather accurate information from credible sources.
- Proficiency in Proofreading to ensure error-free, consistent, and polished articles that meet editorial guidelines.
- Deep knowledge of cricket, including formats, rules, players, tournaments, and current trends in the sport.
- Excellent command of written English and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Janakpuri, manage deadlines during busy match schedules, and collaborate within a small editorial team.
- Prior experience in sports journalism, blogging, or digital media is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory for highly skilled candidates.
