Creative Director & Video Editor

K-AI Fitness Solutions | Pune, India | On-site | Full-time

K-AI Fitness Solutions is building the AI operating system for gyms and fitness brands in India: lead capture, sales, member retention and owner reporting, running automatically under each gym's own brand.

We are cofounded by Sahil Chavan (systems and technology) and Founder Visionary -Kate Austin (Women's Physique Olympia athlete, Coach of Coaches, 26 years in fitness). This is a founding creative role, built for someone who wants to shape a new company's look from day one.

THE ROLE

You'll own how our brands and our client gyms look and sound on screen. Part creative director, part hands-on editor: you set the direction, then you make it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Set the creative direction for our brands and the gym brands we create content for: look, tone, hooks and formats
- Turn briefs into concepts, scripts, shot lists and storyboards
- Direct shoots on location with our team, coaches and gym members
- Edit reels, ads, brand films and short-form content from raw footage, with sharp pacing, transitions, motion text, sound and colour grading
- Run the monthly content calendar and hit deadlines every week
- Build templates and a repeatable workflow so output scales across clients
- Use AI tools to speed up editing and ideation without losing craft
- Make every piece built to bring in leads, not just views
- Review what performs and improve the next edit

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must have

•Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g.,



Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects or equivalent).

•Experience in directing video projects end-to-end, including scripting, storyboarding, shot planning, and supervising production.

•Ability to design content for digital channels such as social media, websites, email campaigns, and paid ads, with an understanding of performance-oriented creative.

•Knowledge of AI-assisted creative tools, video automation workflows, or integration of AI into content production is highly beneficial.

•Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams.

•Attention to detail in visual quality, sound, pacing, and brand alignment, with a commitment to meeting deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.

•Prior experience in a creative leadership role (e.g., Senior Video Editor, Creative Lead, Art Director) in a digital-first or agency-like setting.

•Comfort working in a hybrid model in India, with the ability to coordinate both on-site and remote production and collaboration.

Nice to have

- Fitness, wellness or brand content experience
- Experience leading or mentoring editors or videographers
- Motion graphics and sound design skills
- Hands-on experience with AI video, image or editing tools
- Understanding of hooks and retention on Instagram and LinkedIn
