Merisha Films Private Limited is looking for passionate, creative and motivated individuals to join our team in Mumbai.

We are seeking emerging talent who are interested in filmmaking, creative writing, direction, artificial intelligence and film production operations, and want to gain practical experience in a professional production environment.

OPEN POSITIONS1. CREATIVE WRITING INTERN

Work closely with the creative team on:

- Developing concepts, story ideas and creative treatments for films, music videos, devotional content, reels and digital campaigns
- Assisting with scripts, screenplays, scenes, dialogues and story development
- Researching subjects, characters, audiences and emerging content trends
- Preparing story notes, treatments, pitches and presentation decks
- Contributing fresh ideas during creative discussions and project development

2. DIRECTION INTERN

Assist the direction and creative teams in project development and execution:

- Researching scripts, locations, characters and visual references
- Preparing mood boards, shot breakdowns and scene notes
- Assisting with pre-production planning and coordination
- Supporting the director and creative team during shoots and content production
- Learning practical aspects of visual storytelling, performance, blocking and on-set workflows

3. AI FILMMAKING INTERN

Explore the integration of Artificial Intelligence into modern filmmaking and content creation:

- Creating AI-generated images, visuals and cinematic video sequences




- Developing structured prompts for AI image and video generation
- Maintaining character, costume, location and visual continuity
- Creating AI storyboards, pre-visualisations and concept films
- Exploring AI applications in filmmaking, animation, VFX, voice, music and post-production
- Collaborating with directors, writers, editors, musicians and other creative professionals

4. ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN – FILM PRODUCTION

Support the day-to-day administrative and production coordination activities of the company:

- Assisting with office coordination, scheduling and record management
- Organising project documents, production files and basic paperwork
- Coordinating meetings, calls and communication with team members and vendors
- Supporting production planning, follow-ups and internal coordination
- Assisting with on-ground coordination when required
- Handling project information responsibly and maintaining confidentiality

WHO CAN APPLY?We welcome students, freshers and emerging professionals who are passionate about films and eager to build practical industry experience.

You may be a valuable fit if you have:

- A genuine interest in cinema, storytelling, direction, AI or film production
- Relevant creative, communication, organisational or technical skills
- Basic knowledge of filmmaking, writing, editing, visual storytelling or administration
- Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Grok, Runway, Kling, Veo, Sora, Adobe Firefly or similar platforms,

- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team A formal degree is not mandatory. We value skills, creativity, relevant work samples and the willingness to learn.
