About Evinya EnergyEvinya Energy is a battery manufacturing and renewable energy solutions company focused on lithium battery systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

We are looking for a Mechanical CAD Designer who can design battery enclosures, inverter cabinets, and other energy storage product housings. The designs will be sent directly for manufacturing, so we need someone with hands-on experience creating production-ready designs, not just 3D models.

Key Responsibilities

- Design battery boxes, battery pack enclosures, inverter cabinets, and BESS housings.
- Create detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Prepare production-ready CAD files with accurate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and manufacturing details.
- Design components suitable for sheet metal fabrication, bending, welding, machining, and other manufacturing processes.
- Select appropriate materials, sheet thicknesses, fasteners, mounting arrangements, and enclosure structures.
- Coordinate with manufacturing vendors and production teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
- Modify designs based on prototype testing, manufacturing feedback, and product requirements.
- Ensure proper space allocation for battery cells, BMS, wiring, connectors,



cooling, and other components.

- Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical CAD design and product development.
- Strong proficiency in software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent.
- Proven experience designing manufacturing-ready sheet metal enclosures, cabinets, or industrial product housings.
- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication, GD&T;, tolerances, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to create designs that can be manufactured directly with minimal production-stage corrections.
- Experience with battery enclosures, electrical panels, inverter cabinets, or industrial equipment housings is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the engineering and production teams.
