FyneHand has been mandated to hire for a Chief Operating Officer for a leading manufacturer in the aerospace and aviation component industry. The job location is Coimbatore.

Role Overview:

- Provide strategic leadership for end-to-end operations across aerospace manufacturing, Business Development, maintenance support, quality, safety, and supply chain functions
- Drive operational excellence, profitability, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, business continuity, and sustainable growth

Strategic Orientation:

- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals and growth plans
- Lead expansion, capacity enhancement, digitalization, and operational transformation initiatives
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across all operational functions

Financial Orientation:

- Own operational budgets, productivity, profitability, and asset utilization
- Improve EBITDA through cost optimization and efficiency improvements
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, and resources

Customer Focus and Value Addition:

- Ensure consistent delivery of safe, reliable, and high-quality services to customers
- Maintain on-time delivery and service performance commitments
- Build long-term customer confidence through operational excellence

Operational Effectiveness:

- Lead aerospace manufacturing, business development, maintenance, supply chain, and planning activities
- Monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, turnaround time, cost, and delivery performance
- Ensure compliance with aviation, aerospace, DGCA, safety, quality,



environmental, and statutory requirements
- Drive TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and digital operations initiatives
- Establish robust risk management and business continuity frameworks

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

- Promote automation, data analytics, and advanced operational technologies
- Lead new process development and operational excellence projects
- Benchmark global best practices and implement suitable improvements

People Management

- Build a high-performance culture and leadership pipeline
- Drive capability development, succession planning, engagement, and retention
- Set performance objectives and review functional effectiveness regularly

Qualifications & Work Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or equivalent with MBA/PGDM from a reputed institution
- 20+ years in aerospace manufacturing, aviation operations, industrial operations, or related sectors, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
