? We’re Hiring: Integrated Mathematics, Science & Reasoning Tutor | CEnT-S Preparation
Kanan is looking for an academically strong and versatile tutor to teach students preparing for CEnT-S, an international university entrance assessment used for admission to selected undergraduate programmes in Italy.
Prior experience with CEnT-S is NOT mandatory.
What matters is whether you can confidently teach and solve application-based questions across Mathematics, Logical/Data Reasoning, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at approximately CBSE Class IX–XII / competitive-exam foundation level.
### What will you be teaching?
The curriculum broadly covers
Mathematics
Numbers, algebra, equations and inequalities, polynomials, coordinate geometry, functions, logarithms and exponentials, geometry, mensuration, permutations and combinations, probability, statistics and graph interpretation.
Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
Logical deduction, statements and conclusions, necessary/sufficient conditions, sets, percentages, ratios, averages, tables, graphs, charts, data interpretation, quantitative reasoning and mathematical problem solving.
Physics
Units and measurements, vectors, motion, Newton’s laws, work-energy-power, gravitation, fluids, thermodynamics, waves, electricity, electrostatics, magnetism and basic electromagnetic concepts.
Chemistry
Atomic structure, periodicity, chemical bonding, mole concept, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, equilibrium, acids and bases, redox reactions, solutions, chemical kinetics and foundational organic chemistry.
Biology
Cell biology, biomolecules, genetics, molecular biology, cell division, plant biology, human physiology, tissues, ecology and basic biological processes.
### The academic level
This is not a full JEE or NEET-level teaching requirement.
The syllabus is broadly comparable to:
CBSE Classes IX–X: solid science and mathematics foundation
CBSE Class XI: major portion of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
CBSE Class XII:
selected topics, particularly Genetics, Organic Chemistry, Solutions/Kinetics, Electricity and Magnetism The focus is on conceptual clarity, problem-solving ability, MCQ strategy and speed, rather than lengthy board-style theoretical answers.
### Who would be a strong fit?
We would be interested in candidates with backgrounds such as:
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Life Sciences
B.Tech. / M.Tech. candidates with strong Mathematics and Science fundamentals
Experienced CBSE / ICSE / International Board teachers
Foundation-level JEE / NEET / Olympiad / SAT tutors
Faculty who have taught multiple science subjects or integrated foundation programmes
Candidates comfortable learning a defined international exam syllabus and adapting quickly
### What we need from you
You should be able to:
Teach Mathematics and quantitative reasoning confidently
Handle school-level Physics, Chemistry and Biology concepts
Solve application-oriented MCQs live
Explain concepts in simple, structured English
Create practice questions, worksheets and mock tests
Analyse student mistakes and improve accuracy and speed
- Work with our academic team to align content with the CEnT-S syllabus
Important: You do not need to know CEnT-S before applying. We will provide the exam framework, syllabus and course structure. We are primarily looking for someone with strong cross-disciplinary fundamentals and excellent teaching ability.
