Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Catalog Writer to develop engaging, accurate, and appealing product descriptions for Foodstories’ online and offline catalogs. The ideal candidate should have a flair for writing about food, gourmet products, fresh produce, bakery, and gifting.

Key Responsibilities

- Write clear, engaging, and informative product descriptions for the website and digital catalogs.
- Create compelling content highlighting product features, ingredients, taste, origin, and usage.
- Develop content for gourmet products, fresh produce, bakery, cheeses, pantry essentials, and gifting hampers.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in product names, descriptions, specifications, and other catalog information.
- Optimize product descriptions for SEO and online discoverability.
- Coordinate with merchandising, marketing, and store teams to collect product information.
- Update catalog content regularly based on new launches, seasonal offerings, and promotions.
- Maintain Foodstories’ brand tone across all product listings and marketing content.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in catalog writing, content writing, copywriting, or e-commerce content.
- Excellent written English and strong proofreading skills.
- Interest in food, gourmet products, premium retail, and gifting.
- Ability to simplify product information into engaging customer-friendly content.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to manage multiple products and deadlines.
- Basic understanding of SEO and e-commerce platforms is preferred.

Preferred Background: Candidates with experience in food, FMCG, gourmet retail, hospitality, or e-commerce brands will be preferred.
