As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our company's supply chain management. Your primary responsibility will be to source and procure goods and services required for our operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences, and then identify and evaluate potential suppliers.

Negotiating favorable terms and conditions, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations are key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels and ensure the smooth flow of goods.

Responsibilities

- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, considering quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, aiming for the best possible terms.
- Manage the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on procurement status.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and emerging trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in procurement practices.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to improve relationships and service levels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies relevant to procurement.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a buyer or procurement role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.




- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office applications.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Good understanding of contract law and procurement regulations.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and a quick-paced work environment.
