Role Description The Branch Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the Sangli branch, ensuring productive delivery of financial products and services. This full-time, on-site role includes managing branch staff, setting and monitoring sales and collection targets, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

The Branch

Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, handling key customer relationships, and resolving escalated issues. The role also involves reviewing loan applications, monitoring portfolio quality, driving local business development activities,



and preparing regular performance reports for senior management.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising branch or sales teams.
- Proficiency in branch operations, including customer service, loan processing, and cash/transaction management.
- Experience in retail lending or microfinance, preferably with products such as Gold Loans, Small Business Loans, or Loans Against Property.
- Ability to drive sales and business development through local networking, customer engagement, and market analysis.
- Sound understanding of credit assessment, risk management, and basic financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with attention to compliance and ethical practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar role within financial services is highly preferred.
- Comfort working in an on-site branch environment in Sangli, with readiness to engage in field visits when needed.
