Role Description This is a full-time, on-site BMS Presales Engineer – Industrial Automation role based in the Pune Division. The role involves providing presales technical support for Building Management Systems and industrial automation solutions, including understanding client requirements, preparing technical proposals, and supporting solution design. The BMS Presales Engineer collaborates with sales and engineering teams to develop system architectures, perform product demonstrations, and participate in customer meetings and presentations.





Daily activities include reviewing specifications, preparing BOQs, coordinating with integration teams, and ensuring proposed solutions align with project and industry standards. The role also includes assisting in bid responses, supporting proof-of-concept activities, contributing to documentation, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and security best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong presales and sales skills, including requirements analysis, solution presentation, and proposal development.
- Candidates should possess technical support skills for BMS and industrial automation, including troubleshooting, configuration assistance, and customer guidance.
- Candidates should possess integration skills, with experience in connecting BMS and automation systems, field devices, networks, and related software platforms.
- Candidates should possess foundational security awareness for control systems and BMS, including adherence to cybersecurity and access control best practices.
- Relevant experience with PLC, SCADA, BMS platforms, field instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in industrial automation.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation abilities, with explicit written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with customers and partners on-site.
