Role Description The Biomedical Engineer will work in office in Bengaluru South in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with dentists, radiologists, and diagnostic center teams to support and enhance dental imaging and diagnostic systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and calibrating biomedical equipment such as 2D and 3D dental imaging devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with technology and product teams to integrate diagnostic devices with Vi-Scan’s digital platforms and AI tools,



contributing to workflow optimization, data reliability, and clinical usability.

The Biomedical

Engineer will document procedures, support regulatory and compliance requirements, train clinical staff on proper equipment usage, and assist in evaluating new technologies and solutions that align with Vi-Scan’s Analysis Based Care vision.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in biomedical equipment maintenance and calibration, especially for dental imaging systems, including Dental X-ray, CBCT, and other 2D/3D modalities.
- Candidates should possess skills in medical device integration and basic networking, with the ability to connect imaging systems to PACS, RIS, or cloud-based platforms and ensure secure data transfer.
- Candidates should possess skills in troubleshooting and diagnostics for electromechanical, electronic, and software components, with a systematic approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality and safety practices, including adherence to medical device regulations, radiation safety protocols, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation and reporting, including creating technical logs, maintenance records, and clear communication of issues and resolutions to clinical and technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; advanced coursework or certifications in medical imaging or medical device technology are an advantage.
