Role Description This full-time, on-site BIM Engineer – Scan to BIM role is based in Ahmedabad. The BIM Engineer will be responsible for converting point cloud data and existing conditions into accurate BIM models, focusing on architectural, structural, and MEP elements. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating construction drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring models adhere to project standards and client requirements.

The role involves reviewing input data for consistency, resolving modeling conflicts,



and preparing detailed documentation for permits and construction. The BIM Engineer will also collaborate with design and engineering teams to support project delivery timelines and quality objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with experience in Scan to BIM processes.
- Ability to interpret and produce detailed construction drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations.
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within BIM models.
- Understanding of architecture principles and coordination of architectural elements within multidisciplinary models.
- Background in civil engineering concepts related to building design, site coordination, and structural layout.
- Experience with relevant BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and point cloud processing tools.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a project-driven environment.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in BIM modeling for HVAC and plumbing design or city permit documentation is an advantage.
