Glass Impex Facade Solution is a facade fabrication and installation company based in Pune, Maharashtra. We undertake facade-related works involving glass glazing, structural glazing, aluminium facade systems, ACP cladding, material supply, fabrication, and on-site installation.

We work with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to deliver facade works in accordance with project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site requirements.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in construction, facade, aluminium, glazing, or civil engineering projects.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing and verifying Bills of Quantities (BOQs), client bills, subcontractor bills, measurement sheets, rate analysis, and project billing records. The role requires strong Excel skills, an understanding of construction drawings, and the ability to coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and the accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing & BOQ Management

- Prepare and verify BOQs, quantity take-offs, and measurement sheets.
- Prepare client running account (RA) bills and final bills.
- Check subcontractor and contractor bills against actual site measurements and agreed rates.
- Maintain records of executed quantities, approved variations, and extra items.




- Assist with reconciliation of billed quantities against BOQ quantities.

2. Quantity Surveying & Rate Analysis

- Read and interpret construction drawings, project specifications, and BOQs.
- Calculate quantities for glass, aluminium profiles, ACP panels, and other facade materials.
- Prepare item-wise rate analysis and cost estimates.
- Identify quantity variations, additional work, and potential billing discrepancies.

3. Site Coordination

- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, project managers, and subcontractors to verify executed work.
- Collect site measurements, work progress data, and supporting documents.
- Verify measurements before submitting bills for approval.
- Follow up on pending bill approvals, measurement certifications, and billing discrepancies.

4. Excel & Documentation

- Maintain billing trackers, measurement sheets, BOQ comparison sheets, and project cost records.
- Prepare professional reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain organized records of work orders, quotations, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Update billing status and pending payment documentation regularly.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.




- 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction billing, quantity surveying, or facade projects.
- Working knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, RA bills, and rate analysis.
- Positive understanding of construction drawings and measurement methods.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and PivotTables.
- Good documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site and coordinate with multiple project stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in glass facade, structural glazing, aluminium fabrication, ACP cladding, or curtain wall projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD for reading drawings and verifying dimensions.
- Familiarity with GST invoices, purchase orders, work orders, and subcontractor billing.
- Knowledge of Tally or other accounting software is an advantage.
