Role Description The Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing all banquet operations, ensuring events are executed smoothly and in line with guest expectations and hotel standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore includes managing event setup and breakdown, coordinating with the kitchen and food & beverage teams, and supervising service staff throughout events.

Manager will work closely with clients to understand event requirements, finalize function details, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.



Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling and training staff, monitoring inventory and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and resolving any service issues promptly and professionally. The role also involves collaborating with sales and front office teams to support seamless event planning and post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality guest experiences.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with clients, internal teams, and vendors.
- Candidates should possess solid Food & Beverage knowledge to manage menus, service standards, and event-specific requirements.
- Candidates should possess Hiring and team management skills to recruit, train, and supervise banquet staff.
- Relevant experience as a Banquet Manager or in hospitality event management, preferably in hotels or large venues.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and time management.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
