AWS Platform and Application Engineer

Experience: 4–6 years

Location: Hyderabad – Office-based

Mandatory:

- Linux troubleshooting
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS services
- Production and application support
- Bash/Shell scripting; basic Python knowledge
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and pipelines
- Monitoring and log troubleshooting
- Incident resolution and root cause analysis
- Application deployment and support
- Basic networking and database knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain application availability and stability in production environments.
- Handle L2/L3 escalations and troubleshoot application, Linux, and AWS-related issues.
- Support application deployments, batch processing, and scheduled jobs.




- Automate recurring operational tasks using Shell scripting and other scripting tools.
- Maintain monitoring, alerts, and logs to identify and resolve production issues.
- Support AWS operational controls and assist with cloud infrastructure operations.
- Understand and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
- Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Participate in rotational weekend and critical production support as required.
- Collaborate with senior platform engineers, application teams, and cloud teams to ensure smooth operations.
