ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise cloud infrastructure, Azure platform engineering, security, networking, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing scalable, secure, and resilient Azure solutions while translating architecture designs into practical implementations.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

- Design and implement enterprise Azure infrastructure aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Architect Azure Landing Zones, governance, subscriptions, RBAC, and Azure Policy.
- Design Azure networking, including Hub-Spoke, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, VPN, Private Link, and hybrid connectivity.
- Design and implement Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, including private AKS, workload identity, autoscaling, and multi-region deployments.
- Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Azure Bicep and ARM templates.
- Implement Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment practices.
- Design security, identity, high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
- Configure monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Architect Azure storage, PostgreSQL, Key Vault, and Azure Container Registry solutions.




- Drive cloud cost optimization, resource governance, and FinOps practices.
- Prepare HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, and implementation documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, networking, and DevOps teams to ensure successful implementation.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of overall IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or architecture experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, networking, security, governance, and hybrid connectivity.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Bicep and ARM templates is mandatory.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identity, RBAC, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud.
- Experience with high availability, multi-region architecture, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
- Understanding of Azure cost management, FinOps, and infrastructure optimization.
- Solid architecture documentation, technical problem-solving, and communication skills.
