About the RoleTrikuta Global Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Zoho Automation & Integration Developer with strong expertise in advanced Deluge scripting, custom function development, REST APIs, WhatsApp Business API, and omnichannel integrations.

The role focuses on developing custom code, integrating applications, automating workflows, and building a connected customer lifecycle automation ecosystem using Zoho CRM, Zoho WorkDrive, Zoho Sign, and third-party platforms.

This is a development-focused role, not a basic CRM administration position. Advanced Deluge scripting, API integration, and WhatsApp automation are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities1.

Advanced Deluge

Scripting & Custom Development

- Develop advanced Deluge scripts, custom functions, reusable components, and scheduled functions.
- Build custom business logic, conditional workflows, event triggers, and multi-step automations.
- Automate record creation, updates, data validation, notifications, and cross-module operations.
- Develop custom solutions beyond standard Zoho workflow capabilities.
- Implement error handling, execution logs, retry mechanisms, duplicate prevention, and failure alerts.
- Debug and optimize scripts for reliability, execution limits, and API consumption.

2. Zoho CRM Custom Development
- Customize CRM modules, fields, layouts, relationships, validation rules, and record structures.
- Develop workflows, Blueprints, custom modules, scheduled actions, and approval automations.
- Build custom functions, buttons, widgets, and integrations where required.
- Automate record assignments, task creation, follow-ups, escalations, and status synchronization.
- Maintain data integrity and optimize CRM automation performance.

3. REST APIs & Third-Party Integrations
- Develop integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and OAuth 2.0.
- Connect Zoho CRM with external applications, websites, lead sources, and communication platforms.
- Build inbound/outbound data synchronization and event-driven integrations.
- Handle API authentication, pagination, rate limits, token refresh, and synchronization conflicts.
- Test APIs using Postman or equivalent tools.
- Implement logging, retries, error handling, and secure credential management.

4. Zoho WorkDrive & Zoho Sign
- Integrate Zoho CRM with Zoho WorkDrive and Zoho Sign through supported APIs and custom functions.
- Automate customer-folder creation, document organization, uploads, and permissions.
- Generate and send agreements using approved templates and CRM data.
- Synchronize document references, signature status, and completion dates with CRM.




- Handle failed uploads, expired agreements, incomplete transactions, and integration errors.

5. WhatsApp Business API Automation
- Integrate Zoho CRM with the WhatsApp Business Platform or approved solution providers.
- Develop API-based messaging functions and webhook handlers.
- Automate personalized messages, approved templates, appointment reminders, follow-ups, onboarding notifications, and customer updates.
- Process inbound messages and link customer responses to the correct CRM records.
- Handle message delivery statuses, failures, and supported interactive responses.
- Automate task creation, callback assignment, routing, and escalation based on incoming messages.
- Implement consent checks, opt-out handling, and WhatsApp policy compliance.

Omnichannel

Integrations
- Integrate email, SMS, telephony, website chat, and other supported communication channels.
- Work with platforms such as Zoho SalesIQ, Zoho Desk, Zoho Voice, and third-party providers.
- Automate call logging, missed-call alerts, callback scheduling, IVR events, and communication follow-ups where supported.
- Synchronize communication history with CRM records.
- Develop routing rules, notifications, escalation logic, and duplicate-message prevention.

Workflow

Engineering & Automation
- Develop event-driven, scheduled, and multi-step automation workflows.
- Connect CRM, WorkDrive, Sign, WhatsApp, email, telephony, and external applications.
- Automate lead capture, assignments, agreements, document collection, onboarding, task allocation, and case updates.
- Implement workflow sequencing, conditional triggers, failure recovery, and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Reduce manual work through custom functions, integrations, and automated data processing.

8. Testing, Debugging & Maintenance
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Troubleshoot Deluge scripts, API responses, webhook payloads, and synchronization failures.
- Test missing data, duplicate events, invalid inputs, and partial failures.
- Monitor API consumption, execution limits, failed workflows, and integration health.
- Maintain technical documentation, audit trails, security controls, and recovery procedures.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Advanced Zoho Deluge scripting and custom function development.
- Zoho CRM customization, workflows, Blueprints, and scheduled functions.
- REST APIs, webhooks, JSON,



OAuth 2.0, and API authentication.
- Zoho WorkDrive and Zoho Sign integrations.

- AI chatbot integrations and conversational automation.
- Git or equivalent version-control systems.
- Experience in BPO, CRM-based service businesses, or customer operations.

Practical Technical AssessmentShortlisted candidates may be asked to demonstrate a working solution involving:
1. A custom Deluge function for CRM record creation and updates.
2. REST API integration and webhook-based event processing.
3. WhatsApp message delivery and inbound response synchronization.
4. Automated WorkDrive folder creation.
5. Zoho Sign agreement generation and status updates.

Candidates must explain their code, integration architecture, authentication, debugging approach, and security controls. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Three to five years of relevant development experience preferred.
- Demonstrable experience with Zoho CRM development, custom functions, and API integrations.
- Ability to independently develop, test, debug, and maintain production automations.
- Strong programming, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
