Role: Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright-based test automation, API automation, and test framework development. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions while ensuring application quality and reliability. Candidates should be able to onboard quickly and work independently with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Perform API automation and validation to verify functionality, reliability, and data accuracy.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain reusable test automation frameworks.
- Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Integrate automated test scripts into existing testing processes and CI/CD pipelines, where applicable.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, and ensure timely defect resolution.
- Maintain test scripts, test cases, and automation documentation.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, efficiency, and overall software quality.

Required Skills





- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Playwright-based test automation.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in API automation and validation.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in test framework development and maintenance.
- Robust understanding of software testing principles and automation best practices.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining reusable automation scripts.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly with minimal training.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with programming languages used in automation, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation pipeline integration.
- Understanding of Agile development and software testing methodologies.

Candidate Profile Candidates must have strong practical experience across Playwright automation, API automation, and test framework development. Profiles with relevant hands-on experience and the ability to contribute with minimal supervision will be prioritized.
