Job OverviewPSR Compliance is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Engineer – BIS & Product Certification to join our Regulatory Affairs team.

The candidate will assist in BIS registration, ISI Mark certification, product certification, technical documentation, application filing, factory inspections, audit coordination, and product testing activities.

This role is suitable for Diploma holders and B.Tech graduates who want to build a career in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, product certification, and industrial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in BIS registration and product certification projects, including BIS ISI Mark and BIS CRS.
- Prepare and maintain technical documents, application files, checklists, and compliance records.
- Coordinate product testing with laboratories and follow up on test reports.
- Support factory inspections, technical audits, and assessment visits.
- Understand applicable Indian Standards (IS) and relevant product certification requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, manufacturers, testing laboratories, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist with BIS portal applications, document submissions, query responses, renewals,



and follow-ups.
- Maintain project trackers, deadlines, inspection schedules, and certification records.
- Assist clients in understanding technical documentation and certification requirements.
- Travel to manufacturing units or inspection sites when required.

Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience may apply.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, product specifications, quality systems, or technical documentation is an advantage.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Willingness to learn regulatory standards and undertake occasional site visits.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of BIS certification, ISI Mark, BIS CRS, or product testing.
- Exposure to quality control, quality assurance, audits, inspections, or manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read technical specifications and maintain accurate records.
