Role Description The Assistant Professor / Trainer role is a full time, in office position based at Prestige Institute of Management & Research in Gwalior. The role involves designing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and training sessions across relevant management and IT programs, using contemporary teaching methods and learning technologies.

Responsibilities include developing course materials, assessing student performance, mentoring learners, and maintaining academic records in line with institutional and university guidelines. The individual will contribute to curriculum development,



participate in academic and administrative committees, and support accreditation, quality assurance, and other institutional initiatives. Engagement in research, industry interaction, seminars, workshops, and continuous professional development activities is also expected.

Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA, M.Com, MCA, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from a recognized university; PhD or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred.
- Strong teaching, training, and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate interactive classroom and workshop-based learning.
- Competence in curriculum design, academic planning, and the use of modern pedagogical tools and learning management systems.
- Research aptitude, including the ability to conduct studies, publish in academic or professional journals, and guide student projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with management and/or information technology domains relevant to the institute’s programs and current industry trends.
- Commitment to academic integrity, student-centric education, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices.
- Prior teaching or corporate training experience is highly desirable; exposure
