Role Description Assistant Manager / Manager – Internal Audit role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves planning and executing internal audits, including risk assessment, control testing, and documentation of findings. The individual will review processes and systems, evaluate internal controls, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and governance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing audit plans, conducting fieldwork, coordinating with client stakeholders, drafting clear audit reports, and supporting remediation and follow-up activities.



The role also includes mentoring junior team members, contributing to methodology improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support engagements such as IFC / SOX reviews, due diligence, and regulatory compliance audits.

Requirement

- Strong internal audit and risk management skills, including planning, execution, control testing, and reporting.
- Knowledge of Standards on Internal Auditing is required.
- Accounting standards and financial reporting frameworks (e.g., Ind AS, IFRS) and practical experience in audit and assurance will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of direct and indirect taxation, company law matters, and regulatory compliance relevant to domestic and foreign entities.
- Ability to analyze business processes, design and assess internal financial controls (IFCs), and support due diligence and project monitoring.
- Proficiency in using audit tools, spreadsheets, and documentation software, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and constructively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, lead small teams, and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
- Professional qualification such as CA or equivalent; relevant experience in internal audit or consulting is highly preferred.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to delivering quality, client-focused services.
