Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop seasonal collections for Sweatshirts, Sweaters, Polos, and Crew Neck styles within the menswear knits category.
- Conduct trend research, market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and consumer insights to identify emerging fashion opportunities.
- Create mood boards, concept presentations, color palettes, fabric stories, and design briefs.
- Develop detailed sketches, technical specifications, and artwork using design software.
- Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, technical, and production teams to ensure timely product development.
- Collaborate with fabric and trim suppliers to identify creative materials, constructions, washes, and finishes.
- Participate in prototype reviews, fit sessions, and sample evaluations to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Ensure collections achieve the right balance between fashion, quality, cost, and commercial viability.
- Monitor product performance and incorporate learnings into future collections.
- Stay updated on global menswear, knitwear, athleisure, and casualwear trends.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of menswear knitwear construction and garment development.




- Expertise in designing Polos, Crew Necks, Sweatshirts, Sweaters, and Casual Knitwear.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design tools.
- Strong trend forecasting and fashion interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of knit fabrics, yarns, washes, embellishments, and garment finishing techniques.
- Ability to balance creative design with commercial product requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Knitwear Design, or a related discipline from a recognized institute.

Preferred Experience

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Menswear Knits Design.
- Prior experience with leading fashion, retail, lifestyle, or apparel brands.
- Experience designing across casualwear and knitwear categories.
- Exposure to end-to-end product development and vendor interactions will be preferred.
