Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. This position supports overall branch operations, including supervising daily activities, guiding the sales team, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves driving sales of life insurance products, supporting customer acquisition and retention, and monitoring branch performance against targets.

Manager will also handle escalated customer queries, support training and development of branch staff, and contribute to local marketing and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong sales, business development, and relationship management abilities, preferably within financial services or insurance.
- Experience in branch operations, team supervision, and performance monitoring in a customer-facing workplace.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customer groups.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, reporting tools, and CRM or policy administration systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
- Proven ability to work in an on-site, target-driven role and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of life insurance products (protection, savings, retirement, child, and health plans) is highly beneficial.
