Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Application Developer with strong hands-on expertise in PowerBuilder 2022 or recent versions, relational databases, and application modernization. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, upgrading, and migrating PowerBuilder applications to AWS Cloud while working on both front-end UI and backend business logic.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and migrate PowerBuilder applications to AWS Cloud.
- Work on UI development, backend business logic, and services.
- Develop and consume web services and APIs using XML and JSON.
- Perform application code conversion, upgrades, migration, and testing.
- Analyze business and system requirements and prepare technical design documentation.
- Work with MS SQL Server and Oracle databases for data access and performance tuning.
- Support application integration and data exchange across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical, database, and integration issues.
- Follow coding standards, quality processes, and documentation practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing,



and production support activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and work independently on technical challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in application development using PowerBuilder.
- Strong hands-on experience with PowerBuilder 2022 or recent versions.
- Experience in front-end UI development and backend business logic implementation.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience with web services, APIs, XML, and JSON-based integrations.
- Familiarity with GitHub and source control management.
- Understanding of application migration, modernization, and cloud deployment concepts.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working on PowerBuilder application upgrades and cloud migration projects.
- Ability to manage development, testing, debugging, and integration activities.
- Ability to work independently and deliver quality solutions within project timelines.
