Role Description The Air Export Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day air export operations. This position manages export business, coordinates with airlines, customs brokers, and other logistics partners, and ensures compliance with international trade regulations. The role includes monitoring shipment schedules, resolving operational issues, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient forwarding and export processes.

and meet performance targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in air Export operations and familiarity with Air export processes. Air export department business growth and P&L; management is a responsibility.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Forwarding and coordination with logistics partners.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Customs Brokerage and regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess well-developed Customer Service skills, including clear communication and issue resolution. Operations excellence delivery basis defined operational process KRAs.
- Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain management, or freight forwarding, preferably in air cargo operations. Airline relationships, space and pricing acumen, understanding is a key.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in standard office software and ability to work with transportation management or export documentation systems.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field is preferred.
