Role Description The AI Video Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for supporting end-to-end video workflows powered by AI tools and automation. Day-to-day tasks include working with AI-driven video generation and editing software, preparing and organizing media assets, and assisting in creating video content for various digital platforms. The role involves collaborating with engineers and designers to test, refine, and implement AI models in video pipelines, as well as documenting processes and providing feedback on tool performance.

The AI Video Generalist may help with basic post-production tasks, quality checks, and optimization of video outputs for different formats and channels.



This position requires a robust interest in both technology and visual storytelling, along with the ability to learn new tools quickly and work effectively within a team.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in video production, such as basic editing, media organization, and understanding of common video formats and codecs.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts, especially as they apply to video generation, enhancement, and automation tools.
- Candidates should possess strong computer literacy, including comfort with productivity software, cloud-based tools, and troubleshooting common technical issues.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and clearly document workflows and findings.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-changing technology environment.
- Relevant experience or coursework in media, film, computer science, or related fields is beneficial; a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with popular video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) and any exposure to scripting or automation (e.g., Python, basic command-line) will be an advantage.
