1. Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined AIDC & Vision Engineer with knowledge of barcode scanning, industrial printing, machine vision systems, RFID solutions, and industrial automation technologies.

The candidate will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, implement technical solutions, and provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support across industries such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce, and warehousing.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture)

- Configure, install, deploy, and troubleshoot industrial barcode scanners and fixed readers from brands such as Zebra, Honeywell, and Hikrobot.
- Implement and support RFID systems and RFID printers, including solutions from Zebra, TSC, Toshiba, and other relevant manufacturers.
- Set up and integrate handheld mobile computers, including Zebra TC Series and Honeywell EDA Series devices.
- Conduct customer site surveys, proof of concepts (POCs), product demonstrations, and performance validation.
- Integrate AIDC devices with ERP, WMS, MES, PLC systems, and industrial automation networks.
- Provide customer training, prepare technical documentation, and deliver post-deployment support.

B. Machine Vision & Industrial Automation

- Assist in implementing machine vision applications using platforms such as Zebra Aurora VS Series, Cognex In-Sight/DataMan, Hikrobot Vision Systems,



and similar technologies.
- Configure vision inspection tools for OCR, OCV, pattern recognition, defect detection, and barcode grading.
- Assist in selecting and integrating appropriate lenses, lighting systems, filters, mounting accessories, and triggering hardware.
- Work with PLCs, sensors, I/O modules, and industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and TCP/IP.
- Troubleshoot inspection and image-processing issues and optimize system accuracy, throughput, and lighting conditions.

3. Required Skills & Technical Knowledge The candidate should have knowledge of or hands-on exposure to the following technologies:

Machine Vision Systems

- Hikrobot Vision Systems
- Zebra Aurora VS Series
- Cognex In-Sight and DataMan platforms

AIDC Devices & Industrial Printing

- Barcode scanners and fixed readers from Zebra, Honeywell, and Hikrobot
- RFID systems and RFID printers
- Industrial barcode printers from Zebra, TSC, and Toshiba

Technical Skills

- Understanding of 1D and 2D barcode symbologies, DataMatrix codes, and GS1 standards.
- Basic knowledge of lighting principles, optical setups, and industrial imaging.
- Familiarity with industrial automation protocols and basic PLC integration.




- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

4. Additional Requirements

- Must own a two-wheeler or other suitable personal vehicle and possess a valid driving licence for customer site visits.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations across assigned regions for installations, demonstrations, and technical support.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites and coordinate effectively with internal teams and customers.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and develop hands-on technical expertise.

5. Preferred Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in AIDC, machine vision, or industrial automation will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to pharmaceutical, automotive, FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing environments.
- Basic programming or scripting skills in Python, C#, or similar languages will be an added advantage.
