Role Description The Agency Channel Insurance Unit Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading and developing a team of insurance professionals within the agency channel. This role involves setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and coaching to team members to achieve business objectives.

The Unit

Manager oversees day-to-day operations, ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and supports agencies in delivering consistent, high-quality customer service. Daily activities include analyzing sales and financial metrics, coordinating with internal stakeholders, resolving escalated customer issues, and identifying opportunities to expand the agency network.



The role also requires implementing training initiatives, process improvements, and strategic plans to drive growth and strengthen agency relationships.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and experience in Insurance and Finance, with the ability to interpret policies, premiums, and performance metrics.
- Proven Team Management skills, including coaching, performance monitoring, and fostering a collaborative, accountable culture.
- Demonstrated Sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in an insurance or financial services environment.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including handling escalations, building long-term relationships, and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a remote setting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, including comfort with reports and digital tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant qualified certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
