Role Description The Accounts Assistant will support day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate accounting records, processing invoices, handling petty cash, and assisting with reconciliation of accounts. This full-time, on-site role is based in Gurugram and involves close collaboration with the finance team to monitor payments, manage credit control activities, and prepare basic financial reports.



The role includes communicating with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding billing, payment status, and documentation requirements.

The Accounts

Assistant will also help ensure compliance with internal policies and assist during audits or financial reviews as needed.

Qualifications

- Robust accounting and finance skills, including basic bookkeeping and understanding of financial processes.
- Must know how to use Tally
- Experience with credit control and petty cash management, ensuring timely collections and accurate cash handling.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; ability to work accurately with numerical data.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Relevant educational background in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an accounts or finance support role, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage, or retail, is an advantage.
