Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Godhra. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and processing invoices and payments.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as assisting with audits and financial reporting to management.



The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial data that supports decision-making and the organization’s mission-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, spreadsheets) and comfort with basic data analysis.
- Knowledge of local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and standard accounting principles.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in financial documentation, and ability to maintain organized records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operations and management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience working in healthcare, retail, or distribution-focused organizations is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Godhra and adapt to a mission-driven, community-focused workplace.
