Assistant Manager – Formwork for Dam and allied concrete structures in Hydro Power Projects.

The role involves planning, execution, and control of formwork works for mass and reinforced concrete structures, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and project schedules.

Key Skills & Technical Competencies

Robust experience informwork for Dam & Hydro structures (Spillway, Intake, Powerhouse, Barrage, Galleries, etc.)Knowledge ofmass concrete and RCC formwork systems

Hands-on experience withconventional formwork and system formwork (Doka / Peri / Mivan / customized steel formwork)Proficiency in readingGFC drawings, BBS, and construction methodology

Understanding ofstaged concreting, lift planning, and shuttering cycles

Knowledge ofIS codes, QA/QC procedures, and EHS standards

Ability to planmanpower, materials, and equipment

Good coordination, reporting, and documentation skills





Working knowledge ofMS Excel / MS Project preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in planning and execution offormwork activities for Dam and hydro structures

Ensure propererection, alignment, stability, and stripping of formwork

Coordinate withconstruction, QA/QC, planning, and safety teams

Ensure compliance withL&T; safety standards and EHS guidelines

Monitorformwork cycle time, productivity, and material reutilization

Prepare and checkformwork quantities, shuttering area calculations, and measurements

Control material wastage and ensure economical use of formwork systems

Support concreting activities by ensuring formwork readiness and approvals

Maintain daily progress reports and assist in weekly/monthly reporting

Identify site constraints and implement corrective and preventive actions
