Job Title: Subsea Pipeline Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and review subsea pipeline installation design documents, engineering calculations, analysis reports, and installation procedures.

- Perform and review rigid and flexible pipeline installation analyses using Orca Flex and OFFPIPE for S-lay, J-lay, and Reel-lay operations.

- Evaluate pipeline stresses, buckling, fatigue, stability, and installation feasibility under various offshore conditions.

- Assess installation activities, including pull-in, laydown, abandonment and recovery, lifting, and subsea equipment interfaces.

- Support offshore installation readiness, constructability reviews, technical queries, and contractor coordination.

- Conduct technical bid evaluations and review installation vessels, equipment, contractor methodologies, and engineering deviations.

- Perform pipeline integrity and operational analyses using FEA and analytical modelling tools.

- Coordinate with pipeline, subsea, materials, geotechnical,



and offshore construction teams to ensure protected and effective installation.

Requisites

- Relevant years of experience in subsea pipeline engineering, particularly rigid and flexible pipeline installation.

- Hands-on proficiency in Orca Flex for pipeline installation analysis and modelling.

- Experience preparing and reviewing installation analyses, method statements, and engineering procedures.

- Strong understanding of pipeline stresses, buckling, fatigue, VIV, stability, and pipeline integrity.

- Knowledge of subsea pipeline codes, standards, and offshore installation practices.

- Familiarity with OFFPIPE, DNV tools, and ANSYS/ABAQUS is preferred.

- Proficiency in Mathcad and MS Excel for engineering calculations and model verification.

- Experience in offshore construction, pre-commissioning, and installation readiness is an advantage.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
