Job Description: Agile Transformation Lead / Coach

Owns ways of working: coaching product and leverage teams into a hybrid mode, wave by wave.

Purpose

Lead adoption of agile practices across waves by embedding with the client's teams, building champions who take over, and keeping what already works.

Key responsibilities

Assess, then coach by wave: stabilize Wave 1, ready Wave 2, plan Wave 3.

Coach product owners (many from functional backgrounds), project managers moving into scrum master or product owner roles, and leaders.

Build champions as trainers who move into the driving seat while we step back to assessment.

Work with the client's cadence team on PI planning readiness and calendar; inventory existing meetings before proposing changes.

Coach leverage teams on how to support multiple product teams.

Operate hybrid: product-led work alongside projects, applying agile practices in project work where possible.

Mentor the India-based coaches and model the practices in our own team.

Must-have experience





8+ years in agile delivery; 3+ in coaching or transformation roles; has run agile delivery and programs, not only coached them.

Experience with PI planning or scaled agile.

Has coached project managers into agile roles and worked with distributed teams.

Certifications and frameworks

Baseline: CSM or PSM (or equivalent).

Scaled agile: SAFe SPC, Agilist, or POPM. The client references PI planning; confirm the chosen framework.

Preferred: ICAgile ICP-ACC; Scrum Alliance CEC/CTC; PMI-ACP; PMP helps in a hybrid setting.

Client counterparts

Cadences and rituals team; training lead; product-team and people lead.

Screening signal

Good: adapts the method to the client's cadences and admits capability gaps. Red flag: arrives with a fixed playbook, or has only worked where projects were gone.
