Description

We are seeking an experienced medical coder specializing in Evaluation and Management or Radiology medical coder to join our team in Egmore, Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical coding, ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices within our healthcare facility. This company works for Physician billing provider side.

Responsibilities

- Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding.
- Assign appropriate codes based on ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with coding regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation.
- Maintain coding accuracy and efficiency metrics.
- Stay updated with changes in coding standards and regulations.
- Conduct audits and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

- 1-8 years of experience in medical coding or relevant field.




- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Solid understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in coding.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Certification such as CPC, CCS, or CCA is a plus.

Salary: Will be matched according to previous salary and experience

Work Location: Egmore, Chennai.

Food provided free of cost. Dayshift.

Sat and Sun fixed week off.
