Role Purpose

Lead end-to-end testing, validation, and certification of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring performance, safety, and compliance across components and integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement Test Strategy & Validation Plans (cell/module/pack/system level)Establish and manage testing infrastructure & labs (electrical, thermal, safety, environmental)Lead system-level validation: Battery, BMS, PCS, EMS, container integration

Ensure compliance with IEC / UL / BIS standards and certification requirements

Drive performance, reliability, and safety testing (cycle life, abuse, thermal runaway)Own test data analysis, reporting, and sign-offs for product release

Lead failure analysis (RCA) and validation of corrective actions

Collaborate with R&D;, Quality, and Manufacturing for design and process improvements

Manage external test labs, certification bodies, and customer validations

Must-Have Experience12–18 years in testing/validation

Robust experience in BESS / Battery / EV / Power Electronics testing

Exposure to system-level validation & certification
