JOB SUMMARY

Envicare Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Proposal Engineer to support our Marketing and Business Development team in developing technically feasible and customized water and wastewater treatment solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing techno-commercial proposals, handling customer enquiries, coordinating with internal departments and vendors, and supporting the conversion of enquiries into successful orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the Marketing and Business Development team in converting enquiries into orders by providing technically feasible water and wastewater treatment solutions.

- Prepare accurate and customized techno-commercial proposals based on client requirements.

- Handle enquiries received through the website, Service and Marketing teams, Justdial, IndiaMART, online platforms and other sources.

- Respond to customer enquiries promptly and ensure courtesy replies within 24 hours.

- Contact clients to understand their requirements, collect technical details and develop customer relationships.

- Study enquiry feasibility and coordinate with Design, Purchase and Project teams to develop cost-effective solutions.

- Coordinate with Channel Partners for MPCB-related requirements wherever applicable.

- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals and follow up with clients until order confirmation.

- Maintain proposal records, enquiry details and follow-ups in CRM software.

- Prepare proposals for new treatment plants, including:




- ETP – Effluent Treatment Plant
- STP – Sewage Treatment Plant
- GWTP – Gray Water Treatment Plant
- WTP – Water Treatment Plant
- DM Plant
- UF – Ultra Filtration
- Water Softener
- RO – Reverse Osmosis

- Prepare proposals for rectification and upgradation of existing water and wastewater treatment plants.

- Prepare proposals for AMC clients and provide technical consultancy to existing and new clients.

- Arrange and coordinate site visits with the Project team before finalizing proposals.

- Handle technical queries from clients through phone and email.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for technical and commercial information.

- Coordinate with the Purchase department to maintain updated costs for mechanical equipment, civil works, plumbing, painting and other project-related requirements.

- Coordinate effectively with Service, Project, Design, Purchase, Marketing and other departments.

- Support Junior Proposal Engineers during absence or periods of high workload.

- Develop and maintain standard proposal formats to improve efficiency and reduce proposal preparation time.

- Prepare and submit regular updates and reports to the Director.

- Perform other responsibilities assigned by Management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering preferred.





- 5–6 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment proposals or a related industry.

- Practical knowledge of STP, ETP, WTP and other water treatment systems.

- Experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals and cost estimates.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

- Strong mathematical and numerical skills.

- Good planning, analytical and research abilities.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Valuable client handling and coordination skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to guide, coach and support junior team members.

- Qualified, committed, patient, calm and polite attitude.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Candidates with experience in water and wastewater treatment companies, EPC projects, STP/ETP/WTP projects, technical proposal preparation, estimation or techno-commercial activities will be preferred.
