About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to help shape and scale our EdTech platform for JEE, NEET, and board-exam aspirants. You will own one or more product areas — learning, assessments, content, or growth — and will drive the roadmap from discovery to launch across web, Android, and iOS. You will work closely with founders, engineering, design, content, and marketing teams to deliver products that measurably improve student outcomes and business metrics.

What You'll Do

- Own the roadmap for your product area and align it with business, content, and engineering priorities.
- Talk to students, parents, teachers, and internal teams to deeply understand pain points and learning behavior.
- Translate insights into clear PRDs, user stories, flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with design on wireframes, prototypes, and user testing; partner with engineering on scope, trade-offs, and delivery.
- Define, instrument, and track success metrics — engagement, retention, conversion, learning outcomes, and revenue.
- Run A/B experiments on pricing, paywalls, onboarding, notifications, and content discovery — and make data-backed calls on what ships.
- Collaborate on our conversion funnel — from YouTube/Shorts traffic to free users to paid course subscribers.
- Own feature launches end-to-end — launch plans, GTM alignment, customer comms, and post-launch monitoring.
- Prioritize ruthlessly using frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW, impact-effort) and communicate priorities clearly to stakeholders.
- Use product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA, or similar) and work with data/BI to build dashboards for your area.

- Keep a close eye on the competitive landscape (Physics Wallah, Unacademy, Vedantu, etc.) and translate learnings into opportunities.

Must-Have Skills

- 4+ years of product management experience in a consumer-facing product (preferably EdTech, mobile, or content platforms).
- Proven track record of shipping features that moved measurable business or user metrics.
- Strong user research skills — interviewing students/users, synthesizing insights, and turning them into product decisions.
- Strong analytical skills and fluency with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA) and basic SQL for self-serve data pulls.
- Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests and interpreting results with statistical rigor.
- Experience writing transparent PRDs, success criteria, and release plans that engineering and design teams can execute on.
- Strong understanding of conversion funnels, retention, and monetization patterns — especially freemium / tiered pricing.
- Comfort working closely with engineering on technical trade-offs — APIs, microservices, mobile constraints, performance.
- Experience shipping on mobile-first products (Android and iOS) and understanding platform-specific nuances.

- Strong written and verbal communication — you can write a crisp one-pager, present to founders, and debate trade-offs clearly.
- Bias for action, high ownership, and comfort navigating ambiguity.

Good to Have

- Prior experience in EdTech — particularly JEE/NEET/boards, K-12, or test-prep products.
- Experience building or scaling content-driven products (YouTube/Shorts funnels, creator-led GTM, live classes).
- Experience with assessments and test platforms — question banks, live tests, analytics on student performance.
- Familiarity with growth loops, referrals, student ambassador programs, and community-led growth.
- Exposure to live streaming products, push notification strategy, or personalization/recommendations.
- Prior startup experience — 0®1 product building and operating in early/growth-stage environments.
- MBA or equivalent structured business education (not required if experience is strong).

What We're Looking For

- Student-obsessed — you genuinely care about learning outcomes, not just feature velocity.
- First-principles thinker who can simplify complex problems and drive clarity for the team.
- Comfortable going from strategy to pixel-level detail in the same week.
- Data-driven, but not data-blind — you balance metrics with intuition and user empathy.
- Collaborative leader who earns trust across engineering, design, content, and marketing.
- High-agency — you spot problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
