Position: QA Tester

Timings - 8am to 5pm

Technology Environment: Python Flask, FastAPI, React.js, Core PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, REST APIs

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Tester responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of our web applications and APIs. The candidate will work closely with developers and the IT team to test applications built using Python Flask, FastAPI, React.js, Core PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

* Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and user workflows.

* Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

* Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UI, and usability testing.

* Test web applications developed using Flask, FastAPI, React.js, and Core PHP.

* Perform REST API testing for Flask/FastAPI and other backend services.

* Validate API methods including GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE.

* Verify API request/response data, status codes, headers, authentication, and error handling.

* Perform database validation using MySQL/PostgreSQL and verify data consistency between frontend, API, and database.

* Test React-based frontend applications across different browsers and screen sizes.

* Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs with clear steps and supporting screenshots/logs.

* Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.

* Test user authentication, permissions, roles, sessions, and access controls.

* Validate form validations, file uploads, reports, notifications, dashboards,



and business workflows.

* Perform basic cross-browser and responsive testing.

* Conduct smoke and sanity testing for new builds and deployments.

* Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve reported issues.

* Verify fixes and maintain proper defect status and testing records.

* Perform API and integration testing for third-party services and webhooks where applicable.

* Assist in production/UAT testing and release validation.

* Maintain QA documentation and contribute to improving the overall testing process.

Technical Skills

* Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

* Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.

* Experience testing web-based applications.

* Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.

* Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.

* Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and database testing.

* Understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL.

* Basic understanding of Python Flask and FastAPI applications.

* Basic understanding of React.js applications and frontend debugging.

* Basic understanding of Core PHP applications.

* Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging network requests.

* Knowledge of Git/GitHub for source-code and release management.





* Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, cookies, sessions, authentication, and authorization.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with automated testing using Python tools such as Pytest or Selenium/Playwright.

* Experience with API automation.

* Knowledge of CI/CD and GitHub Actions.

* Basic understanding of Linux/server environments.

* Experience testing webhooks and third-party API integrations.

* Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar tools.

* Basic understanding of application security testing.

The QA Tester will be expected to:

* Ensure features are thoroughly tested before release.

* Minimize production defects through effective testing and regression coverage.

* Clearly communicate critical issues and release risks.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation.

* Continuously improve the team's QA and testing processes.

* Develop knowledge of the company's Flask, FastAPI, React, Core PHP, database, API, and integration-based applications.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
