Job Description

We are looking for a responsible, organised and computer-proficient Storekeeper to manage material inventory for our five-star branded hotel construction project in Karnal.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate digital records of all incoming materials, outgoing materials, stock balances and material consumption. All inventory records must be maintained on a computer using appropriate software. Manual paper-and-pen record keeping alone is not acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

- Record all incoming materials and verify quantities against delivery challans and purchase orders.
- Maintain digital records of all materials received, issued, returned and remaining in stock.
- Record every material issue, including quantity, recipient, contractor and intended floor, area or work activity.
- Maintain accurate stock balances and regularly reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor material consumption, identify shortages and inform management in advance.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, procurement and vendors for material requirements and deliveries.
- Ensure proper storage, identification and handling of materials to prevent damage, loss and wastage.
- Prepare regular digital inventory reports covering stock balances, receipts, issues and consumption.




- Ensure every material movement is properly recorded and supported by the required authorisation.
- Maintain organised, accurate and verifiable inventory records at all times.

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience in construction-store management, inventory management or a similar role.
- Positive computer skills and working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with inventory software, ERP systems or TallyPrime is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns and closing stock.
- Honest, disciplined and accountable, with a professional approach to work.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, contractors, supervisors and management.

Compensation

Fixed monthly salary based on experience and suitability.
