Job Description – VBA Developer (Microsoft Access & SQL Server)

Position: VBA Developer

Location: Coimbatore / Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled VBA Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Access and SQL Server to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy business applications. The role involves developing and supporting Microsoft Access front-end systems, writing and maintaining VBA modules, creating reports and automated processes, and integrating applications with SQL Server databases.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Microsoft Access applications, including forms, reports, and VBA modules.
- Write, debug, and optimize VBA code for business processes, automated reporting, and data management.
- Create and maintain reports, letters, and document-generation processes using Microsoft Word templates and bookmarks.
- Develop, modify, and support SQL Server Stored Procedures, Views, and database objects.
- Troubleshoot and investigate application issues by tracing functionality from the user interface through VBA code to SQL Server database objects.
- Analyze existing workflows and implement new business requirements and enhancements.




- Develop end-to-end solutions by integrating VBA functionality with SQL Server backend processes.
- Support scheduled jobs, data updates, and automated system operations.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Microsoft Access Development.
- Excellent knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including Stored Procedures, Views, Queries, and Database Design.
- Experience creating reports and automating document generation using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read, understand, debug, and maintain complex legacy systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with long-established or legacy business applications.
- Knowledge of task scheduling and automated batch processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word automation and template-driven document creation.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business solutions.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per month
